Magic Camp Has Come and Gone! :(

Hello friends, family, and fellow funny folk!

Here we are again: The aftermath of the best week of the year, Tannen's Magic Camp. If you know me well, you know how much camp has meant to me for the past (nearly) 30 years of my life... it's where I go to be surrounded by fun, magic, and family!

One of my favorite parts of leading this very charmed life is the fact that I am still constantly learning... even at Magic Camp! I was able to spend time with a few of my childhood magic heroes, Mark Kalin and Jinger Leigh, Dave Williamson, and Mike Caveney. We all got to hang out and talk about magic, life, and art. To say the least, it was amazing! Learning the psychology and philosophies of different performers is one of my favorite things about this community, and at camp, there's just something that opens us all up.

The other great part about camp is how it not only recharges me but also inspires me to hit the books and go back to old journals to see what ideas I came up with years ago, some of which I wasn't ready for at the time, and see if there's anything worth revisiting. I think I may have found a little bit of gold in a journal from 7 years ago that is juuuussst about ready to start exploring, so stay tuned. :)

Camp was extra special this year because it was the 50th one! For 50 years, Tannen's Camp has been supporting the dreams of young magicians worldwide, and I'm so overjoyed and honored that I've gotten to be a part of it all :).

I'm already pumped for next year! To learn more about camp, click here and join the family!
