Hey there friends, family and fellow funny folk! Holy buckets, what a crazy few weeks it's been... and we're not even done with the summer yet!
This past week, the goddaughter and I were in Colon, Michigan: The Magic Capital of the world! One of the oldest magic conventions in the world is held there every year, and this year I was fortunate enough to perform and lecture as a part of Abbotts Magic Get-Together!
It's been such an honor to be on the program alongside such talented magicians. I got to meet, talk, and jam with many of my heroes in the magic community.
I brought the goddaughter along with me this year, which not only made the drive out there a lot smoother, but made the whole convention a lot more meaningful to me. Even though we had a bit of a hiccup halfway through the week involving a large quantity of water in a dealer's room full of paper products (it's a long story), we managed to have so much fun performing and lecturing!
Abi was a champ. She'd never even been to Michigan, let alone a multi-day magic conference as an employee!
